Product roadmap

Launch a fractional horse program under your own brand.

Managers bring the horse, their brand, and the operating plan. Paddockline provides the manager workspace, consumer ownership app, branded website tools, partner handoffs, and ongoing owner account.

What “fractional owner” means: this is the customer-facing term. In a live U.S. program, an investor may own a security in an entity that holds part of the horse, not direct title to the horse.

Working product prototype

The manager workspace, Paddockline ownership app, and Northstar-branded page now use the same supplied horse profile and pedigree. The manager, program terms, economics, and statuses are demo data. Live investments, payments, and ownership issuance are not enabled.

Build one complete horse program

Make the manager workspace, Paddockline ownership app, Northstar-branded page, and fractional-owner account four views of the same horse source record, demo ownership plan, budget, documents, and status.

IN PROGRESS
What we are building
  • Manager workspace to create and update a program
  • Paddockline consumer listing and ownership-process preview
  • Branded public page generated from the same workspace record
  • Horse photo, pedigree, manager, ownership, budget, reserve, and fee details
  • Title, veterinary, insurance, authority, and conflict documents
  • Draft, partner-review, and ready-to-launch states
Proof required

One pilot program must remain consistent across the manager workspace, Paddockline app, branded page, and owner account preview, with every public statement tied to its workspace source.

02
Next · manager pilots

Pilot with working syndicate managers

Test the product with established managers using their own brands, horses, operating plans, and documents. This phase prepares programs for partner review but does not accept investments.

What we are building
  • Two to five manager pilot accounts
  • Manager branding and team permissions
  • Testing for Paddockline and manager-website distribution
  • Real horse records with controlled private documents
  • Program budgets, reserves, updates, and care plans
  • Partner-ready review and export packages
Proof required

Managers must be able to prepare and maintain a program without duplicate entry or constant help from the Paddockline team.

03
Then · first live launch

Launch through registered partners

Connect the Paddockline app and a manager-branded program to one partner flow for investor onboarding, subscriptions, escrow, payments, signatures, and official ownership records.

What we are building
  • Counsel-approved program and offering structure
  • Registered intermediary handoff or controlled embedded flow
  • The same partner handoff from both distribution channels
  • Investor identity, eligibility, signature, and payment status
  • Escrow and transfer-agent reconciliation
  • Owner updates, expenses, distributions, and material-event records
Proof required

Complete one live program, reconcile every subscription and ownership position, and confirm that Paddockline never controls investor funds.

04
Scale · repeat launches

Let more managers launch under their own brands

Turn the pilot into a repeatable product for qualified horse owners, trainers, and syndicate managers, then connect selected auction and consignor referral channels.

What we are building
  • Reusable program templates and repeat launches
  • Manager-branded pages, themes, domains, and owner accounts
  • Versioned public API and embeddable website components
  • Standard partner onboarding and review workflow
  • Auction-house and consignor referral intake
  • Horse and sale-data imports for approved programs
Proof required

Independent managers must be able to launch repeat programs without custom engineering while partner review, owner support, and reporting remain reliable.

Product and pilot measures

How we will know the model works

Each measure tests a real operating outcome: faster program preparation, accurate handoffs, reliable owner reporting, and repeat use by managers.

01

Time from manager intake to a partner-ready program

02

Consumer-view fields linked to matching workspace records

03

Subscriptions and ownership positions reconciled without correction

04

Manager updates and material-event notices delivered on schedule

05

Managers that return to launch a second program

Who does what

The manager owns the program. Each partner keeps its role.

Paddockline connects the public and operating experience. It does not train the horse, hold investor funds, or replace registered transaction partners.

01

Horse or syndicate manager

Brings the horse or horse interest, sets the brand and operating plan, runs the horse, and communicates with fractional owners.

02

Paddockline

Turns one manager record into the Paddockline app and a branded website, coordinates documents and partner handoffs, and provides the post-close owner account.

03

Registered transaction partners

Supervise the securities transaction, onboard investors, process subscriptions, hold funds in escrow, and maintain official ownership records.

04

Auction houses and consignors

Can refer managers and supply horse or sale data. They remain a channel, not the primary product user or securities intermediary.

Not part of the initial product

  • Wagering, odds, or gambling features
  • Crypto or tokenized ownership
  • A secondary trading market
  • Horse or investment recommendations
  • Custody of investor funds
  • Instant, unreviewed program launches
Pilot partners

Pilot one real horse program with us.

We are looking for an established horse or syndicate manager and registered transaction partners to test the path from manager workspace to public launch and ongoing owner reporting.
